-
Do I need a referral? No, a referral is not required to see an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
-
What rebates can I get?Medicare: If you are looking to claim from Medicare, speak with your GP if you are eligible. Your GP will need to set you up on a chronic disease management plan, which allows you to make claims for up to 5 dietitian sessions ($60.35 per session) per calendar year. Gap payment applies. Private health funds: Dietitian services can be claimed depending on the level of cover. Please check with your private health fund for exactly how much you can claim back. For in-person appointments, we can process claims instantly. For telehealth appointments, we will provide you with an invoice to submit your claim. DVA: If you are a DVA card holder, you may be eligible to claim your dietitian sessions. Please speak with your GP or specialist for a referral. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
-
What do I need to prepare or bring to my first consultation? We request for list of medications, most recent pathology report and 3 day food diary prior to your first consultation. If it is an online consultation, send them to our email at least one day before your session so we are prepared to see you. If you are on a care plan, please also bring your referral form and letter from your GP. Feel free to bring any other documents to support your consultation.
